Following our recent enhanced locality display update, we have introduced a practical improvement to how users interact with timetables in apps.
Timetables often contain a lot of information that can be difficult to navigate on a narrow mobile screen. With this update, app users can rotate their device to view timetables in landscape orientation.
By switching to landscape, the interface adapts to show more columns of the timetable at once, reducing horizontal scrolling and providing a clearer overview of the journey ahead.
To ensure users get the most out of this update, we have included a one-time tooltip. The first time a user views a timetable after updating their app, they will see a brief prompt encouraging them to rotate their phone for a wider view.
This change will be available from Wednesday, 20th May 2026 with the release of app version 115. For any questions or more information, please get in touch.
