E-Scooters added to Bike Share

Our bike share integration system now includes support for e-Scooters.

Passenger websites and apps with Beryl bike-share integration now show Beryl e-Scooter locations and bays alongside available bikes. Beryl e-Scooters was launched earlier this year as part of a trial run by the Department for Transport (DfT), to understand how they can safely and efficiently complement existing transport networks.

We have updated our integration with the bike share provider, Beryl in several locations across the UK. App and website users in these regions can now locate nearby bikes, e-bikes, and e-Scooters for more options when planning first and last-mile legs of their bus journeys.

The ‘explore view’ of websites that currently integrate micro-mobility schemes, now have e-Scooters appearing alongside the bikes, with apps soon to follow as soon as the update is through app store review. Bike share stations include separate availability tallies, for both bikes and e-Scooters.

If you have an e-scooter trial or micro-mobility scheme in your region and would like us to enable the integration for your customers, please get in touch.
