More control for how operator names are displayed

Passenger Cloud has a new feature which allows you to control how the name of an operator is displayed through your websites and apps.

Several Passenger websites and apps display which operators run the service on line lists. An example of this is the Robin Hood Network covering Nottingham.

These names come from a TransXChange or GTFS dataset imported into Passenger Cloud, and are often an operator’s legal entity and not the name the public recognise.

To edit these in Passenger Cloud, you will find the ‘Manage Operators’ link in the sidebar of the ‘Network’ area.

When a new dataset is uploaded to Passenger Cloud, the operator name you have chosen will be used instead – so you won’t need to update this every time.

When a new service is added, the operator name in Passenger Cloud will be used for that service, instead of the name from the TransXChange or GTFS dataset.
