We are making changes to enhance the utility of linked lines for users, as well as launching a refreshed form interface in the Journey Planner for apps.
Improved visibility for favourite lines
We’re updating how favourite lines are displayed across the app and website to provide users with more control. Previously, when lines were linked (e.g., the 2 and 3), they were grouped when displayed in favourites. With this change, favourite lines will always be displayed separately, regardless of how they are linked to other lines.

This enhancement also gives users more control over their favourite Timetables. Favouriting will now work in the following way:
- Tapping the favourite icon on a linked bus route (like the 2 and 3) will favourite both lines, and they will appear as separate entries on your Timetables and Favourites screens.
- You can now remove individual bus lines from your Favourites by tapping the delete icon on the Favourites screen. This gives you more control over which vehicles you see on the Explore screen and which travel alerts you receive.
- From the Explore screen, you can now add or remove individual bus lines to your favourites to enable live buses for only the specific lines you want, even if they are linked to other routes.
Refreshed Journey Planner for apps
We’ve made a visual update to the Journey Planner screen in apps for a cleaner, more streamlined look. This change updates the date and time picker to match the styling of the origin and destination inputs, which makes the UI element more obviously tappable and easier to use. The button to reverse the origin and destination has also been enlarged for ease of use and now aligns with the other inputs, giving the whole UI a modern refresh.

These changes will be available from Wednesday, 10th September 2025. For any questions, please contact us.
