Coronavirus – Communication via websites and apps

Reviewing the evolving situation regarding COVID-19, and anticipating changes to your normal operations, we are putting measures in place to help you keep your customers informed.

There are a number of actions you may wish to consider implementing, intended to help your customers quickly find the information they need.

Add a “Coronavirus update” page to your Passenger website and keep it updated. We recommend creating a page rather than a news article. Creating a page on your website like this will help Google to direct your customers quickly to the correct information when they search. It will also help you to share this information via social media should you wish to.

You may also wish to add a ‘Network Alert’ that includes a link to the new Coronavirus page. This will show on every page on your website, as well as in apps.

We understand that things are changing quickly, but where possible, please continue to update your TransXChange to provide up to date network information. As you know, TransXChange is the source that feeds your systems, and this is the best way to provide consistent, accurate information to your customers.
