We’ve made it easier to sort homepage content. You can now edit which content is displayed in the featured section of your website homepage and easily change the order it’s displayed.

What’s new in the Content Platform

We’ve updated the process for ordering featured content on your website homepage.

Previously this was controlled by using the “promote to homepage” checkbox on an article or page. We had feedback that this was cumbersome to manage and it was tricky to maintain the correct ordering. In response to this feedback, we’ve replaced this with a new feature called Sortable Lists.

To sort content on the homepage of your website:

1. Log into the content platform;
2. Click on lists;
3. Click on edit to access the sortable homepage list; and
4. ‘Drag’ and ‘Drop’ articles in the list to change the order.
5.  To add new articles to the sortable lists, click ‘Add another item’.
6. To delete an article from the list, delete the text from that field and click ‘Save’.

You’ll find lists as a new addition to the top menu in the content platform

‘Drag’ and ‘Drop’ articles to change the order of articles on the homepage or select ‘Add another item’ to add articles to the list. To delete an article, just delete all the text in that field and select ‘Save’.
