The timetable preview tools in Passenger Cloud are being updated to make navigation simpler and better reflect the experience of using timetables in the app and website.

Accessing a timetable preview from the dataset page has been made simpler – users will now select directly from a list of services which also includes an operator code to help differentiate two services that may otherwise be indistinguishable.

On the timetable preview screen for a service, the controls to change direction, granularity of stops, and date now reflect the same order that they appear on an app or a website. These controls also display horizontally across the top of the timetable, providing more screen space for the timetable itself. Additionally, the direction shows the destination as well as the direction name, and allows previewing of all routes, including circular.

There’s no action to take before these changes are released. These changes will be available on Friday 11th November.
