Reinstate cancelled journeys faster

In January 2022, we released an advanced journey cancellation tool in Passenger Cloud with a user interface design that allows operators to quickly select and cancel whole or partial journeys (including individual stops).

This removes the cancellation from either departures boards or journey planners on websites and mobile apps.

  • Cancelling whole journeys will remove them from departure boards and journey plans only
  • Partially cancelling journeys will remove them from departure boards only.

This was in response to an increase in journey cancellations, covered on our blog at the time Service disruptions – Giving users the information they need – Passenger

Operators have told us they want to be able to reinstate journey cancellations as quickly as creating them, so we will be updating the journey cancellations main page to quickly allow a more controlled selection of journeys to be reinstated.

The new interface in Passenger Cloud

The new interface will be available from Thursday 4th August.
