Simplifying navigation for web users

To further improve our product, we’re making some minor changes to the navigation for websites.

1. Search input removed on mobile

‘Search’ will now be a menu item, identical to the desktop view. Tapping that will take users to the search page and immediately let them start typing for a search topic.

This change helps avoid potential accessibility issues by ensuring the input and button are always accessible when on a unique navigation background. These backgrounds can vary greatly between operator websites.

Additionally, this will improve consistency between mobile and desktop, so there aren’t any surprises for first-time users.

2. ‘Log out’ removed from account bar

This helps simplify the interface. Users can continue to log out using the ‘My account’ link.
