New Academy course – OpenStreetMap

An introduction to OpenStreetMap and how Passenger uses OSM data

We are pleased to share a new Academy course designed to help you understand OpenStreetMap and discover how Passenger uses the OpenStreetMap data across our platform. 

This course is your guide to viewing, editing, and managing map data to ensure accurate Journey Planner results for your customers.

The course will cover the following topics:

  • What OpenStreetMap is, and how it is used across the Passenger platform
  • Creating an account in OpenStreetMap
  • Editing content in OpenStreetMap
  • Troubleshooting Journey Planner errors

This course is designed for users working with TransXChange and anyone who may need to troubleshoot Journey Planning issues. Anyone with the Network Management or Customer Service roles within Passenger Cloud will automatically be enrolled on the course in the next 48 hours.
