We are pleased to announce that Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now available for all Passenger Travel Portal business users. This update helps third-party partners to meet stricter data protection requirements and directly supports organisations in achieving or maintaining specific accreditation, such as Cyber Essentials Plus.

Travel Portal users are now able to add an extra verification step at sign-in using a compatible authenticator app that generates a time-restricted one-time passcode.
The use of MFA is optional and will not be enabled by default, ensuring that current user workflows will not be disturbed.
Administrators can easily review all users’ MFA setup with the addition of a status column within the user management section. This allows staff responsible for compliance an ‘at-a-glance’ view of their organisation’s compliance level.
To help support the transition to MFA, we have updated the Help section of the Passenger Travel Portal with instructions on how to get set up and how to manage users in the event of access being lost.
This change will be released on Tuesday, 17th March 2026. If you have any questions or you are interested in the features Travel Portal can offer your business, please contact us.
