We’re pleased to be releasing a change that has been long requested that allows recipients of gifted tickets to know exactly which ticket they have been gifted. We are doing this by adding ticket information to the email that is sent to the gift code recipient.
This email is sent when a customer purchases a ticket as a gift for someone else and also when a business sends tickets to users through the Travel Portal.
Currently, users have to redeem the gift code before being able to see what the ticket is and this can create extra customer support if a user redeems the wrong gift code by mistake.
This is particularly useful for parents with multiple school-aged children who are using the gift code functionality to assign tickets to different user accounts for their children.
This change is due to be released on Monday 14th November.
