To help with the recruitment of drivers and other roles, we are enhancing the fields and layout of job vacancy pages in the CMS to improve the application process.

Job vacancy pages will now offer additional fields to represent the working location of the role, the closing date for applications, and a link to the application process itself.

These new fields are visually separated and promoted on the page to ensure the potential applicant can see this information clearly. An address is shown for roles with a physical location or can be marked as a remote role. The closing date is clear and will be greyed out if this has passed. Apply now links can point to any application form or applicant tracking system directly and are shown at the top and bottom of the page.

Additionally, we are showing the featured image at the top of the page, to allow for a more visual representation of the role being offered.

The body of the page retains the flexibility to describe the details of the role with all the features available currently.

These changes will make it easier for applicants to understand the role being offered and ensure they know how and when to apply, improving the application process.

These changes will be made available on Monday 10th October 2022.
