Websites will soon receive the ability to filter operator services on the Line List. This brings over a similar feature currently available on the Passenger mobile apps, and has been added to help users find lines when there’s a large number to choose from.
Users are able to type in their search query, which filters the list based on the visible text in the Line List. The user’s query is also highlighted.
On mobile, the query is shown in bold in results. On websites, we have a variety of different text weights and styles so bold text is not often noticeable. We have opted to use a yellow background highlight on the results, as this colour is widely used in this way across the web.
The filter will only display if there are 10 or more lines visible.
