Introduces a section in Ticketing allowing customer support staff to manage a customer’s devices. This includes listing the user’s devices and, from that, listing the any other users who have access to the device.
Devices can be blocked, preventing tickets from being purchased or activated on them. The presence of a blocked device that the user has access to shows a warning to staff in Passenger Cloud.
Blocking a device can be used to limit the impact that “repeat offenders” have on disputed payments. As always, caution should be applied to ensure legitimate users’ devices are not blocked. There are no guarantees that a device identifier cannot be reset of that offenders will not use new devices.
